Our annual reunion in 2009 will be held in the Shanklin Hotel, Shanklin, Isle of Wight. A point was raised at our last AGM in Blackpool re the travel arrangements to the island. We would like to point out to those who have raised this issue that it is the policy of the IoW Ferry Company that all cars going to the island contain two or more passengers (with a minimum of 2). The Association has no control over these arrangements or in their business matters. Correspondence has been received by certain members of the committee of quite a distasteful nature, sadly the author of this letter failed to sign it (an anonymous letter) which means we are unable to make contact individually and on a personal basis in order to fully explain the situation hence this note on the website. Should any member of the association who will be travelling solo and could either offer a lift on the ferry crossing to another single or request a lift themselves  please make themselves known to any member of the committee.
